So this week I was asked to create a wireframes(Wire frames?) for my website. Right now I’ve got only two ideas, hoping to develop some more. So, let’s see what I got.
I came up with this at uni. nothing complicated, right? i decided that I want to show my work right at my homepage. One of my reasons was that usually there isn’t much to write on a hompage. I could just say “Hi. Welcome to my website, enjoy it.” but I wanted to try something different. The only issue that I have with this idea is that the ratio of my thumbnails is 1:1 so my work wouldn’t be proportional. (I hope that makes sense). On the other hand that’s just a thumbnail and after clicking on it you would see full size. OK, let see the other idea.
I tried to keep it simple in this design. Instead of a navigation bar viewer would see 4 different panels and each of them would expand after clicking/hoovering over it. I hope it is possible to do it without Flash, or too much coding but I have to say that I prefer this idea. Each of these panels would have differnet colour as well, I was thinking about using a dark colour scheme for this design. So I would use mostly blue, purple, maybe black for a background?
